Should be.  Are you using 4.2.0?

What are exactly the schemas that Mapserver uses for a GetFeature request? 
Is it possible to generate the corresponding schema of a particular GetFeature request?

The schemas used are generated dynamically by a OGC:WFS DescribeFeatureType request.  You can find this in the schemaLocation attribute of the second namespace declared, in the root element of the document.

I´m trying to read GML data returned from a GetFeature request, using ArcMap but without any success.
It seems that the GML data returned by MapServer is not a valid input for ArcMap.

Is GML data from MapServer according to the Geography Markup Language Implementation Specification?

Any help would be appreciated
