[Mapserver-users] Problem in installing Proj4 and GDAL for Linux RH Advanced Server

I'm trying to install the demo from map server on a Linux box with Red hat Advanced server. I managed to get it to work only with shp files (after some modifications). So far I'm not able to get the projection to work neither the GDAL. I have installed the packages for GDAL and Proj4 and then included then in the configuration of the mapserver using <--with-gdal --with-proj>. When I test the proj4 and gdal packages seperately they seem to work, but from map the server they don't, although the configuration in mapserver doesn't give any error messages.
