Hi 

it's fairly simple and you don't have to "import" anything, it's read 
directly; chunck of mapfile (be aware that the shapepath is not used, 
so enter a relative path or an absolte path to your mapinfo files):

	TYPE POLYGON
	MINSCALE 0
	MAXSCALE 100000
	STATUS ON
	CONNECTIONTYPE OGR
	CONNECTION "..\data\rp\Nutzungszonen_Nutzung.TAB"

	STYLEITEM "AUTO"

			NAME "Nutzungszonen_Nutzung"
