[Mapserver-users] What is CONFIG parameter for?

I've used it to setup GDAL_DATA to point to my gdal/data folder (for S57 
format this is required).  In essence, it appears to be useful for time 
when you need set environment variables (or just a couple specific ones?) 
that mapserv or dependents will be looking for.  I haven't tried it for 
PROJ yet, but that too will (should ?) solve some path problems that have 
previously relied on setting global environment variables which may not be 
an option on non-sysadmin accounts.

That's my observations anyway.  Good stuff!
