[Mapserver-users] Out-of-the-box and 24 bit?

Jeremy,

It should support 24bit rendering, but there have been issues with transparency
in the past in 24bit mode.  I would suggest you upgrade to MapServer 4.2
(and GDAL 1.2.0) and if problems remain file a careful bug report on the
issue.
