[Mapserver-users] running in cgi-bin

Hi,

Try comparing the size of the downloaded "mapserv" file to the size of
the file in the cgi-bin directory on the server. If they differ then
what you probably are receiving is the image file that mapserver should
be producing. The fact that it is named "mapserv" rather than
"image.png" or some such thing is simply how the browser chooses a
default file name.

Hope this helps,

- John
