[Mapserver-users] shapefile conversion

[Pramila R Gawas]

Is there any method of converting txt file to shp, shx, dbf.
I downloaded gen2shp programme., but when i tried running the proramme 
with make command, it's giving me the error
cc  -o gen2shp -lshp gen2shp.c utils.o
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lshp
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [gen2shp] Error 1
