SWF output developpement history and plan question

Hi,

Looking at the mapserver changelog text file, one can see that there has
actually been no real update for swf output since the early 2003.

Is there any reason for that :
- no customer's demand needing that developpement ?
- no improvements, upgrades of the ming library ?
- no great interests to use flash outputs (MapServer/Ming performances,
heavy files, ...) ?
- technical limits ?
- ...
