Paul: You should be able to retrieve the line by stepping through the search layer search results and then doing a getShape based on the results. Depending on the language I'm sure there are a number of examples readily available.

I´m using PostGis/mapscript, and I found the nearest line of a point
with queryByPoint... And I can print this line with drawQuery... But I
need to identify this line in postgre/POSTGIS... Is it posible?
