problem with php mapscript layerobj functions

Dear All,

I had the same mapscript 'layer' problem on a Fedora 3 installation.

I got a segmentation fault.

I never figured out what was wrong.


I tried all different kinds of recompiles and versions. But I couldn't 
shake the error.
