MapServer Foundation - Open Letter

Since OpenGIS is taken:

If we went with a foundation name of Open Source GIS Foundation we
could use a short form of "OSGIS Mapserver".  Not too long, and you
can pronounce it "oss giss" which is essential for any successful
acronym.  Watch out Ess ree, here we come!
