Compilation issues with gd.h on Linux 64bit

Hi again,
I'm still having difficulties with this. I don't believe the problem lies
with the server being 64bit as I've read other people compile successfully
on them.
I've searched the archives and there seems to be a few posts concerning this
can't find gd.h problem, but no fixes.
Any advice is welcome.
Cheers,
Xin
