Geomedia and Mapserver

Yes.

In fact MapServer was used as part of the recent OGC OWS-3 project in 
which GeoMedia, and several other clients, interacted without issue. In 
fact Stan Tillman was a great help.  There was also a MapServer instance 
lurking behind some of the DRM work that done.
