Poll: MapServer and Autodesk

This all seems to be a rehash of the same issue. The majority of the 
MapServer Community to want MapServer to stay MapServer and Autodesk 
MapGuide not to be named "MapServer Whatever." However let's see how the
spin-docters can muddy the issue so people will buy into it.

1. Create the foundation and call it MapServices, MapTools, whatever, just
not MapServer Foundation. Sort of like GMC does not start all its car
companies with GMC. 

2. Let MapServer stay MapServer and MapGuide Stay MapGuide.

3. This will indicate if Autodesk is dealing in good faith. If they are 
really for Open source, the end Foundation and Product name should not make
a difference to them. It seems that Autodesk has a burning need to use the
MapServer name in everything. One would have to wonder why.

4. However, if then name and its reputation continues to be an issue, then
figure it out for yourself.
