Draw circle

Put something like this in your map file.    The numbers in the "points" section refer to the diameter in the X direction and the diameter in the Y direction.   If the numbers are the same you get a circle, otherwise you will get an ellipse. 

SYMBOL
    NAME "circle"
    TYPE ellipse
    FILLED true
    POINTS
      12 12
    END
 END
