Premature End of Script Headers

Hello all

I am observing what I find to be strange behaviour.

My system:

SuSE Ent Svr 9
Apache 2.0.52
php-4.3.10
gd-2.0.33
mapserver-4.4.1


I have installed mapserver without errors, but when I try to run the Itasca
demo, I get premature end of script headers in apache error logs.
I am able however to run the gmap demo from DM Solutions using
dl(php_mapscript.so).
Has anyone seen this?
