Proportional Symbol Map in Mapserver

Hi,

Does anyone know how to build a proportional symbol map with simple circle
in a mapfile? I know I could make many different CLASS using EXPRESSION but
I want the size of my circle to be directly proportional to a field value...

I thought SIZEITEM was designed for this. It could, but for now it doesn't
work with POINT type.
