projection error when mode=itemquery

I think I've got a bug here, but I'll throw it out to the list before
I file a bug report.

I have a map with a state plane (U.S. Foot) projection defined. It
includes a UTM (meters) raster layer. All displays well until
mode=itemquery or itemnquery, or queryfile=... In these modes the UTM
raster layer occupies only a small portion of the rendered map (see
attached image).

I have tested in two different state plane zones with two different
raster UTM image sets, with mapserver versions 4.2, 4.6 and 4.7.

Any ideas?
