WMS GetMap and MODE attribute

Hi,

with standard QueryString-Attribute "mode=browse" MapServer stores the
images in the "imgepath" I defined in my map file.

Is this also possible when using an OGC WMS GetMap-Request or is this
always like "mode=map".
