points with labels by php

I have several points with latlong in an array which I want to draw with 
  text labels by phpmapscript onto my map. I found this method:

int draw(mapObj map, layerObj layer, imageObj img, int class_index, 
string text)

But I don't know how to do it. Do you have an example?
