set offsite in php mapscript

Hi, since i am having a problem posting from the mapserver lists, i am sending an email from here, i am sorry if u already got this ...

  i was trying to set the offsite for a raster layer using php mapscript, but i am not getting the correct syntax ..... i am able to set it in the map file but i have a need to set it in the mapscript.
