SHP point to line

Hi!

I have a layer (SHP) containing street names that is presented in
points. All these points have an angle defined and a column for the
street name. I wan't to read the street name and use the angle for
drawing the string.
"Do you have an angle column in the shape file that you want to use for
the orientation of the label?" - YES

I also have a shape-file in LINE format that defines the angle but
doesn't contain the street names so is there a way to merge these
layers or something?
