Circle on Mapserver Map?

I should also note that you could do this with 1 layer if you wanted to
composite the
circles and THEN make them transparent. Each style represents a circle
of different
size...

The example sets transparency so you can see how that works too...

Thank you for the excellent example. I had one last question in my
original
email:

I would also like to be able to use a fill color and transparency for
the colored circles. Is it possible to set the transparency of the
fill
colors so that the underlying map can still be seen? If yes, how can I
set
the transparency?

Thank You
Paul

here's a simple example:

testing/circles.map&mode=map

mapfile is at:

I would like to create three concentric circles at different radius
about a
point of interest on a map. Can this be done with Mapserver? Also I
would
like to specify miles or km for the units of radius. If yes, can you
point
me towards an example?

I would also like to be able to use a fill color and transparency for
the
colored circles.

Thank You,
Paul
