Hi Sebastian,
Yes, the querymapObj is only present in 4.8. In terms of debugging your
problem with 4.8, can you isolate the problem? For example, does it still
occur if you change the output format to JPEG temporarily? Also have you
tried enable debugging (setting the webObj log property to a filename and
then setting the mapObj debug property to true)? This should give you more
information as to why Mapserver is failing.
