Searching for closest object in mapserver

Thanks. I have my - rather simple - query running now. Guess I was 
messing around too much with the parameters.

The only thing left now is the distance from the point that I specified 
to the point where the resulting cable is closest. In the Template 
Reference I see no mention of this.
