map drawing stretching

Hi,
it is possible to draw area with ratio for example 1:1.5 (image will be more
stretched for Y axis). When I have specified extent smaller for Y axis,
image is stretched for this axis. So it works on mapserv running through
cgi. When I do it using java mapscript. image is never stretched...
