Install PEAR in MapServer

Yes, I follow this link:
  http://pear.php.net/manual/en/installation.getting.php
  But the MapServer itself modifies the PHP origin. So I have many troubles when re-config it!

pear should be installed in your system, not in mapserver.
please follow the specific pear instruction, according to your operating
system and distribution.
