MAXFEATURESIZE for point data

Thanks for youre reply, Steve.

I was expecting it to show labels for the points only at a specific
scale, being a label attribute. This is it's function as descriped in
the book "Web Mapping", applied in that case to polygons.

Is this the supposed behaviour or am I mistaken? Is there another way
to do this for points - showing the label only at a specific scale?
