projection in google map

Hi Dave:
   
  well i had used this projection in my .map:
   
  "init=epsg=4326" and seems to work fine... althougth you have to know i'm about 8º north ecuador, in Panama, so i don't know its works more on north (for the distortion mentioned in the article that other person posted it about this subject)
