[UMN_MAPSERVER-DEV] Large installations

Johan,

Topozone.com is a large site with rasters on the order of 20 TB of disk 
and serves some pretty high volumes. It uses something like a cluster of 
9-10 systems running mapserver. This site draws primarily raster maps, 
but also has vector mapping that can be overlaid. I will defer to Ed 
McNierney for details.

Where2getit.com serves in the ball park of 1/2 Billion map draws 
annually. We have a load balanced cluster of 10 +- mapservers drawing 
vector based maps.

Slippymap.com is serving tiles that were generated using mapserver.

I'm sure there are lots of other sites out that that are serving high 
volumes.
