[mapserver-users] Sample Program To Start Developemnt in Grass

I need to start the development in Grass/MapServer..
I would like to make a sample program for importing & displaying of
Map(Raster & vector)..
could u suggest from where i could get the neccesary API's or sample code ..
Recomment the docs.
