[MAPSERVER-USERS] No Labels on PostGIS Layer

Yes, that particular ID should return a name of "Madison".  Also, I attempted
to use acres and that column also has a value.  I have labeled layers that
have come from shapefiles in nearly the same manner (minus the postgis
connection), and their labels print properly.
