Hi,
You need to set OFFSITE into your raster layer definitions, for example if the background colour is black
OFFSITE 0 0 0

Aihe: [mapserver-users] Set RASTER layer's black background to transparent
Hi! I've been searching for a while and can't seem to find an easy answer; I have a .PNG image that I use as a raster layer to a map. The .PNG has a black background, and I'd like the black background to actually be transparent on the map, as it sits on top of other layers.

I don't have control over the image generation, so I can't set the background to transparent at build time.

Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can accomplish this?
