Hi Steve

For Shapefiles, the only one you need is shptree. It creates a .qix
spatial index file of your features.

Usage: shptree yourshapefile.shp

The other tools are for rasters.

Kind regards,

Robert Sanson

Hi,
I read a lot on how to optimized mapserver for large shapefile but I
get confused. I read on shp2tile, ogrtindex, shptree, ...
What is the link between those tools? What is the recipe?
thanks,
Steve
