[mapserver-users] Obtaining the color of a layer

Could WMS GetStyles suit you?  Usage example:

http://localhost/cgi-bin/mapserv.exe?map=c:\ms4w\osm-mapserver.map&service=wms&version=1.1.0&request=getstyles&layers=roadsfar_01
