Can you post the text of your mapfile and the URL call that you are using to request a map? That would make it a lot easier for people to help you.

David.

Subject: [mapserver-users] wms projection

hello
I'am still trying to use mapserver for made a WMS.
from shape file

i hope to use espg code in my mapfile epsg:27572

and for my data it's seems to be these extent : EXTENT 858964.1238 2380767.4854 861549.0282 2383100.0826 UNITS METERS

So in Client Software I receive a piece of my map

Sis from CardCorp : <BoundingBox CRS="EPSG:27572" maxx="844656" maxy="2.33637e+06" minx="842122" miny="2.33409e+06" /> with GetCapabilities

and in Qgis i am not seeing anything.

So a change epsg:27572 by epsg:4326 and i saw my map in both software but they 're not in the right place on earth

how is made the BBox by mapServer is it from the extent in map file ?

Can we use all epsg code ?

what means this line in epsg file (/usr/share/proj)

<27572> +proj=lcc +lat_1=46.8 +lat_0=46.8 +lon_0=0 +k_0=0.99987742 +x_0=600000 +y_0=2200000 +a=6378249.2 +b=6356515 +towgs84=-168,-60,320,0,0,0,0 +pm=paris +units=m +no_defs <>

is it a conversion rules ?

thanks for your comment

tonton
