[mapserver-users] multiple highway shields on a single line

Maybe this is another RFC, but I think more flexibility in defining the 
label point is needed. Also it would be nice it each label could have 
its own label point say through the use of GEOMPROCESSING function.

So here are some ideas for defining label points and ANGLE AUTO or FOLLOW.

For lines:

1. n% along line, centered on the line
2. n% along line, offset normal to line right or left some distance
3. n% along line, offset N,S,E,W some distance

For polygons:

1. Along polygon edge, offset inside or outside of polygon, could used 
ANGLE AUTO or FOLLOW, could allow REPEATDISTANCE
