[mapserver-users] php_mapscript.so library

Hi List,

I'm following the
instructions<http://www.mapserver.org/installation/php.html#obtaining-compiling-and-installing-php-and-the-php-mapscript-module>on
the Mapserver website to install the PHP module, but I'm confused by
this line:

Copy the php_mapscript.so library to your PHP extensions directory, and
then use the dl() function to load the module at the beginning of your PHP
scripts. See also the PHP function
extension_loaded()<http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.extension-loaded.php>to
check whether an extension is already loaded.

I just re-downloaded and unzipped mapserver-6.0.1 but I don't see the
php_mapscript.so library anywhere.

Also, is there a way that I check if I compiled Mapserver with
'*–with-php=DIR'
*I compiled it for CentOS Linux a few months ago and cannot remember all of
the options that I chose.

Thanks,
David
