If you want to contribute to the official documentation on mapserver.org
then please do:

- docs are stored on github now (https://github.com/mapserver/docs)
- clone the docs for your git username
- follow steps to checkout/pull
(https://github.com/mapserver/mapserver/wiki/WorkingWithGit)
- submit a pull request for any changes that you make (help:
https://help.github.com/articles/using-pull-requests/)

https://github.com/mapserver/mapserver/wiki
