[MapServer-users] Silent error running mapserver

Hello,

I'm struggling to find out why my newly compiled Mapserver 8 exits 
without any output and without any error messages.

Using Mapserver 6, the following command resulted in PNG output.

/usr/local/bin/mapserv

But using Mapserver 8, nothing happens. On the command line, the result 
code of the command is 0.
