No subject

QGIS (or mapserver?) as a background for overlaying the vector data.

I have done some prototyping, & it certainly works, the only issue is data
volume. I can't see Lizardtech donating MrSid to the cause, even with the SuSE
chameleon on-side :-)

A web map server using OS tools to demo this is somewhere on my to-do list,
hence struggling with mapserver evenings & weekends!
