Hi all<br><br>I have OGR Virtual Format layer in my map file and the underlying .OVF is calling a flat MS SQL table of point data.  The layer displays fine, but I am having issues with umlauts etc for one of the attribute fields.  When I run the ogrinfo command on the layer, it has already messed up the encoding.  In SQL it looks and queries fine.  Any pointers on how you can maintain the encoding?<br>
