Regarding TM for logo and web site

Hi,
in the meeting minutes of the
http://wiki.osgeo.org/index.php/Eighth_VisCom_Meeting_Minutes
action item 10 says:

All: Start adding TM symbol to our logo

It is not my understanding that this has been decided. In IRC it was only
suggested that "we need to start adding the TM symbol to our logo".

07:59:22 	seven: 	what for?
07:59:28 	seven: 	who is going to steal it?
07:59:41 	seven: 	is it some kind of magic certificate?

There has been given no reason why we need to do it.
