Black is good, these look way cool to me.
 
(I just proudly showed them off to a non-geo colleague sitting next to
me, who immediately said "Huh. Looks like the Mariner's logo".  See

	Guys,

	Attached are "proofs" for a banner stand (a rollup graphic) and
table skirt banner. 

	The background is black and pretty bold and is being recommended
by our events expert.  We tried a grey background like on the web site
banner, but it comes off pretty plain.  Also tried on white background,
but it's horribly bland.  We could try the white to gray fade as on the
web site banner, but that's very 90's.

	Let me know your thoughts by noon PST on Thursday (tomorrow).
These will go into production on Friday.
