WebCom Folks,

What do you all think of the idea of a "FOSS4G in the Media" queue
on the osgeo web site? It would be something like the news queue, but
pointing to articles in the media about FOSS4G that we consider constructive.

Stuff like the Geoconnexion articles for instance:

   http://www.geoconnexion.com/geo_issue/March_2008
   Grass Open Source GIS

I'd be willing to have the news editor(s) take on the role (ie. just email
suggestions to news_item at osgeo.org) but I don't know how to setup the
web site machinery to make this work.

PS. I'm afraid I haven't done a good job on following up on the "spotlights"
effort. I'm still interested in helping with this, but seem to lack the
ambition to really push it. Anyone interested in doing so?

Best regards,
