this is a misconception - I regard you as very much on this committee and
if you check your name is where it is supposed to be.

What happened is that I sent around an email after renaming VisCom to
Marketing asking committee members to add themselves to the new list. I
also said that I would take this as an act of confirmation of interest.
Sobered by the little resonance that this generated I refrained from
following up.

But formally all VisCom members are also still Marketing members and can
vote on anything we decide. Please do so!

This is the list from the VisCom Wiki:

* Arnulf Christl (link moved to Marketing Committee page)
* Torsten Brassat
* Michael P. Gerlek
* Alain Grignon
* Chris Holmes
* Tyler Mitchell
* Venkatesh Raghavan
* Perry Nacionales
* Aaron Racicot
* Nathalie Mainland

If you find yourself on this list please consider also moving your name
over to the new list at:

I am inactive on too many committees myself, so please don't feel awkward
if you don't do anything.

We should have applied for GSoC with an "Open Source Marketing" project.

Best Regards,
