I presume the RC1 in the title is a typo and RC2 is actually meant to be
promoted.

The issues identified in RC1 and fixed in RC2 make the former not a
suitable candidate for promotion to final, RC2 is looking good though.

I support promotion of RC2, assuming no new issues are reported.
