[MetaCRS] Question about proj4js

Hello,

I'm trying to load WKT projections definitions in proj4js and I have a
question: which version of WKT does proj4js support?

I'm using python along with the pyproj module to export WKT definitions.
Pyproj can output WKT definitions in many formats but the only one I got to
work correctly is what pyproj calls "WktVersion.WKT1_ESRI". Is this the
format supported by proj4js?

I used other versions without success. For instance the
"WktVersion.WKT1_GDAL" format leads to vertical shift when reprojecting
from EPSG:3857 to EPSG:4326.
