Hello Vicky (and everyone taking part in OSGeo sprint this week).
I have not had much capacity for volunteer work recently, however any
committee member should be able to review. The team has started making some
issues <https://github.com/MobilityDB/MobilityDB-admin/issues> which make a
So if I grab our list
the project repository <https://github.com/MobilityDB/MobilityDB>
1. Be geospatial
- README <https://github.com/MobilityDB/MobilityDB/blob/master/README.md> -
looks good as "geospatial trajectory data management & analysis platform"
- https://www.osgeo.org/projects/mobilitydb/ - website check
- https://docs.mobilitydb.com/MobilityDB/master/ - some user docs (found
from osgeo page above)
2. Have a free license or an open source license
postgresql license (so open source), seems to be missing a line from the
original <https://www.postgresql.org/about/licence/>, but agrees with OSI
- Check the headers: I guess this is being done? Issue#5
3. Welcome participation and new contributors
lots of options
- closed pull request
a range of participants
- Code of conduct, with Prof. Esteban Zimanyi as contact
So it looks good, I guess we wait for an update from the team on checking
