[Mobilitydb-dev] MobilityDB 1.0 is released

The MobilityDB development team is pleased to announce the first official
1.0 release of MobilityDB.

We would like to thank our users for their invaluable feedback that allowed
us to improve MobilityDB in many aspects, in particular for increasing
performance.

Some of the features added to this release are:

 1. Improved and smaller memory structure
 2. Considerable speed up improvements
 3. Improved GiST and SP-GiST indexes
 4. Index-support functions
 5. Improved selectivity estimation both for restriction and join
selectivity
 6. Various bug fixes
